Founded in 1982, the Mavromoustaki School of Music is conveniently situated in the Germasogeia region of Limassol, offering a wide range of music lessons tailored to students of all ages and skill levels.

Music Theory and Aural Skills

Theory, Harmony, and History of Music

Students can choose group lessons or one-on-one tuition in music theory, harmony, and history. This foundational knowledge is critical for any musician and is complemented by practical applications.

Aural Tests and Solfege

We also offer specialized training in aural skills and Solfege, helping students develop their listening abilities and pitch recognition, which are vital for musical proficiency.

Specialized Programs

Professional Classical Clarinet School

Our dedicated clarinet program includes both group and individual lessons, as well as a Clarinet Choir. This unique offering allows students to engage in ensemble performance, enhancing their collaborative skills and musicality.

Preschool Music Lessons

We provide engaging and interactive music lessons for preschool-aged children. These classes focus on developing a love for music through playful activities and foundational skills.

Contemporary Music Composition

For those interested in creating their own music, we now offer contemporary music composition lessons. Students will learn about songwriting, arranging, and the creative process, empowering them to express their musical ideas.

Weekly Rehearsals

All students are encouraged to participate in weekly rehearsals, which provide an opportunity to practice in a group setting, refine their skills, and prepare for performances.

Fantastic Facilities

The Music School has 10 well equipped practice and teaching rooms all of which benefit from excellent Boston upright pianos. The beautifully proportioned Orpheus recital hall is where many of our concerts are held. Additionally there is a sound-insulated room for the tuition of percussion instruments such as the drum kit, and a dedicated classroom for group lessons and theory training.
